On the 27th March at 7.30pm, join Transition Haslemere and The Haslemere Society at Haslemere Hall for a brilliant talk on John Tyndall, a pioneering Victorian climate scientist who lived in Hindhead for ten years until his death.
The talk will be given by Sir Roland Jackson, an Honorary Research Fellow at University College London, former head of the Science Museum and author of the definitive biography ‘The Ascent of John Tyndall’.
The talk is free but requested donations of £5 will go towards the cost of refurbishing John Tyndall’s memorial in the Derby Road Cemetery.
