Swift Awareness Week is a nationwide campaign featuring events run by independent local groups, and you will find PeCAN alongside local charity Hampshire Swifts this Saturday 28th June at St Peter's Church from 10am until 1pm. Have a look at the new nest boxes in the church tower, find out more about the species, and take part in some crafty activities!
On Monday 30th from 6.30pm we invite you to join us for a FREE talk on swifts at the United Reformed Church, from Hampshire Swifts trustee Catharine Gale. She will outline the incredible life history of these birds, their migration patterns and their current status - and demonstrate why it is so important that we help them out.
Book your FREE place hereOur aim is to provide students of all ages with knowledge, understanding, and skills to help them navigate the future with resilience, confidence and wisdom. We want to empower them to make planet-friendly choices themselves, and enable them to amplify their voices in explaining those choices to others. Over the past two years we have delivered more than 100 transformative (and free) assemblies and workshops, reaching over 5,000 children, but with your help we could do much more.
