The South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) has asked the public for their comments on the scope and focus of their review of the South Downs Local Plan. This is a very important document, as it will set the policies which guide all new development in the National Park.
It would be fantastic if as many people as possible could please respond to the consultation - by 16th September - to stress the importance of planning for future resilience in the face of the effects of climate change.
PeCAN has prepared a deck of slides, which set out our view of the climate mitigation priorities for the South Down Local Plan, alongside model answers to help you answer the specific questions within the online consultation.
We are looking for four motivated, capable people, to take on a number of key roles on our board, as some existing trustees begin to think about succession. These are very rewarding roles in a dynamic and well-regarded organisation, with strong links to Petersfield’s community.
