What do you know about improving the energy efficiency of your home? Emissions from our homes are a significant contributor to our overall carbon footprint.

Many people want to improve their home's energy efficiency to help the environment whilst at the same time making their home a healthier and more comfortable place to live.

Petersfield Climate Action Network (PeCAN) is running a free, informal, interactive and engaging evening, offering both short and long term measures to reduce your home energy consumption as well as introducing the Petersfield Area SuperHomes project as an option to reduce your bills and your carbon footprint.

Christine Murphy, a retrofit coordinator from NEF (National Energy Foundation), will present a number of ways to improve the energy efficiency of your home, from simple draught-proofing to a full home retrofit.  There will be examples of insulating materials and other energy saving devices that you can use in your own home.

There will be a Q&A session.

Venue: Merchistoun Hall, 106 Portsmouth Road, Horndean, PO8 9LJ.
