On Saturday March 9th at Hawkley Village Hall, Hangers Environmental Network (HEN) will present two excellent speakers who will demonstrate how our money can have a significant impact on the environment.

From our spending power in the shops to savings and investments, we are often unaware of how our money can be used to support activities with both positive and detrimental impacts for our climate.

There will be advice on offer particularly for those who have investments and want to ensure that they provide a return on investment whilst not impacting the planet.

The speakers: 

- Greg Ford, an advisor at the NGOs Finance Watch, Positive Money Europe and the Climate Safe Lending Network, where he works on climate finance policy and on advocacy for a more environmentally and socially sustainable economy. Also Chair of PeCAN. 

- Rowan Harding, a Financial Advisor with over twenty-one years’ experience in the financial services sector, and a wealth of knowledge about ethical investments.

The event runs from 10am - midday.
