Are you making energy efficient changes to your home? You could be eligible for grant funding including up to £2,500 off the cost of solar panel installation.
Grant funding is available to homeowners who are having energy efficiency measures installed before 31st August 2023.
To qualify, you must sign up to the Petersfield Area SuperHomes project to have a home survey and a Whole House Retrofit Plan carried out by a qualified, independent retrofit coordinator. Costs for this range between £250 and £600 depending on the size of your home.
In order to claim the grant, you need to provide two quotes for the work and confirmation of an installation date. If the work has been completed between 31st January and the present date, you can supply the invoice and MCS or Trustmark certificate for the installation along with photographs.
The grant funding is available on a first come first serve basis and is not secured until you have received the confirmation letter.
The amounts available are:
- Solar PV - £2,500 or max 50% of the cost of the work
- Solid wall insulation - £5,000 or max 50% of the cost of the work
- Room in roof insulation - £2,500 or max 50% of the cost of the work
- Ground floor insulation - £2,500 or max 50% of the cost of the work
- Loft insulation - £750 or max 50% of the cost of the work
- Cavity Wall insulation - £1,250 or max 50% of the cost of the work
- Heat pump essential enabling works e.g. radiator upgrades, rewires approved on a case by case basis - £1,000 or max 50% of the cost of the work
