Food and drinks cartons, such as Tetrapak containers, cannot be recycled via your household collection. This includes juice, milk and drinks cartons, soup, tomatoes and other food cartons, as well as paper cups and cardboard tubes with metal ends (eg crisps tubes or gravy containers).

When you deposit cartons for recycling, straws can be pushed down inside drinks cartons and plastic lids left on.
