Trustee for Public Engagement

PeCAN is seeking a person with a talent for community organising and some management and HR experience to join our committed team of Trustees.

This voluntary role will focus on public engagement and involve working closely with PeCAN’s Programme Manager to support an exciting programme of events and activities that can engage members of the public of all ages. The ideal person will be local, community-minded, motivated about the climate, and would have one to two days a week to devote to the role.

Eco-Fair team member

PeCAN is seeking a volunteer to help us prepare Petersfield's first ever Eco-Fair. 

The event will take place at the Heath on Sunday 17th July and will feature a host of activities to celebrate earth-friendly living, including talks, an art exhibition, children’s activities and live music throughout the day, with a choice of food and drink and things to buy, all ethically-sourced and using minimum packaging. The Eco-Fair is being organised by PeCAN and the Petersfield Town Council. 

If you have a few hours a week spare between now and July and would like to join the small team of trustees and volunteers producing the event, please contact Louise Bevan via [email protected].

Fundraiser

PeCAN is seeking a volunteer to help with our fundraising. In this crucial role you would support the chair and other trustees to build a fundraising strategy, secure grants and create public fundraising campaigns. Up to half a day a week. Retrofit Coordinator

Help PeCAN deliver on our target of 150 Whole House Retrofit Plans for the Petersfield Area SuperHomes project by gaining your Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management from the Retrofit Academy.

90% of the cost of training is covered by the National Energy Foundation. This is a superb training opportunity and we have five places available.
