Taking place on Saturday March 14th, and now in its 4th year, the Petersfield Seed Swap encourages us all to grow. Along with seeds to swap from a selection of vegetables, flowers and herbs, there will be opportunities to meet local gardening and nature organisations (including PeCAN), gain advice from experts, and find inspiration for the growing year ahead.
This is a family friendly event, with a seed sowing corner for younger visitors - complete with peat-free seed sowing compost, eco-friendly pots and trowels. This year, free workshops will be hosted by head gardener and RHS herbaceous committee member Ben Pope, Helen McAra from Wild Seasons Foraging, and award-winning garden designer Helier Bowling. Refreshments will be available for cash donations, which will go towards future seed swaps.
