What happens next with our water — and what can we do about it?

After a year of heatwaves, very little rain and continuing drought, the future of our water supply matters more than ever. Join Petersfield Climate Action Network for an open, friendly and informative event about the water issues affecting Petersfield and the surrounding area.

Hear from Southern Water and the Western Sussex Rivers Trust, meet representatives of local groups working to protect our rivers, and put your questions directly to the people who know what’s happening.

Come along to find out:

  • Is our water supply secure? Understand the challenges we face and what’s being done to prepare for the future.
  • How clean are our rivers? Discover what local water testing reveals about the health of our waterways.
  • What happens to our wastewater? Find out how it’s treated, where the problems lie and what needs to improve.
  • Can we make a difference? Meet local people and groups working to protect our rivers and improve water quality.
  • How can we save water - and money? Pick up practical tips to reduce water use without making life difficult.
  • Who’s responsible for what? Get answers from water company representatives, local experts and councillors.
