The 17th - 23rd October is Recycle Week, and in celebration we have launched our new Petersfield Recycling Directory!
Recycle Week is an annual event created by climate action NGO Wrap. This year's theme was ‘Let’s Get Real’ - challenging perceptions and myths around recycling, and targeting contamination to improve recycling behaviours.
Did you know that you can recycle dental products and their packaging at TPS and St Lawrence Catholic Church, or that beauty packaging is accepted both at Boots and the Day Lewis Pharmacy?
The directory details Petersfield based recycling schemes which allow us to recycle items the council will not accept. You will find details of items you can recycle via your household collection HERE.
The directory will change over time, with, we hope, more recycling schemes and locations to be added in future. Please contact us if you know of any Petersfield schemes we have not detailed, or any changes to the locations of schemes listed.
If you have items you would like to recycle which are not listed, the Recycle Now website is very useful and will provide details of the closest locations if nothing is available in Petersfield. You can also check Terracycle recycling drop off locations HERE.
Together we can reduce waste and keep Petersfield recycling!
