We are pleased to say that our Swift Awareness Week events on Saturday and Monday were a success! Thank you to everyone who came along to find out more about these wonderful birds, and to those who signed up to request a swift box for their home.
Particularly given the heat, some of you might like to continue to celebrate swifts throughout this week, with a pint of Swift One (and a donation to Hampshire Swifts) at participating local pubs and bars: The Townhouse and Annie Jones in Petersfield, The Cricketers and The Harrow at Steep, and The Queen's Head in Sheet

Plastic Free July is a global movement that helps millions of people become part of the solution to plastic pollution. Will you take part by pledging to refuse single-use plastics? Plasticfreejuly.org has plenty of free resources and ideas to inspire you to make small changes with big impacts. Take the challenge, make your pledge, and encourage others to do the same.
You can find out more about all the Rs - refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle - plus rethink, repair, rewild, rewear...at the monthly CARRR Boot Sale hosted by Petersfield Town Council at the Avenue Pavilion. Make the most of FREE free cycle pitches as a starting point, and come along to have a chat with PeCAN representative.
The next car boot will be on Sunday 27th July 8am-midday, and the LAST one of the year on 24th August.
Find out what you can recycle and where locally, in our Petersfield Recycling Directory.
Our aim is to provide students of all ages with knowledge, understanding, and skills to help them navigate the future with resilience, confidence and wisdom. We want to empower them to make planet-friendly choices themselves, and enable them to amplify their voices in explaining those choices to others. Over the past two years we have delivered more than 100 transformative (and free) assemblies and workshops, reaching over 5,000 children, but with your help we could do much more.
