The Energy Adviser position is a part-time role (3 days per week) providing home energy and retrofit advice as part of the My Home Made Better project. The purpose of the role is to deliver advice to help homeowners understand how their homes were built and how they can make them fit for the future.

The main responsibilities are to:

  • Lead the implementation and delivery of the My Home Made Better project in Petersfield and south east Hampshire
  • Provide in-depth energy and retrofit advice (face to face, telephone and/or online meeting)
  • Provide light-touch retrofit advice at events
  • Recruit and train volunteer Energy Champions
  • Participate in project meetings
  • Complete all recording and reports required of the project
